Thanks for all the questions and comments! I don’t want to give to much away at this point, however I will say that these strips set up a story element that will not pay off for a very long time. (And in case your curious, we will be getting back to the “Funny Ha Ha” on Tuesday.)

Based on its eyes, I got the sense that “Red Eyes” didn’t mean to hurt the fish. Maybe even frightened itself.

Is this how you fished in Canada last month? I was thinking that might have been how you got the idea for the red eyes.
That thing is movin way too fast to be Matt Forcum in Canadia….(the photo on the website shows Matt in one of his more ‘animated’ moments in Canadia.).
