great one…very clever to make a conversation between Larry and the ‘pretext’
..here where i live rats with wings refers to pigeons cuz we have few seagulls around …
I am sure that a “Rats with wings” Is a derogatory slur that can be applied to any sort of bird that runs amok and wallows in it’s own filth. Here in Illinois, we have quite a few seagulls, so there you go.
Or perhaps being called a “Pigeon” is the ultimate insult. Who knows?
Thats kinda funny. Lots of seagulls in Illinois, no sea. And they always seem to be attracted to walmart parking lots! Why is that? Probably goes back to walloring in filth. . .
I did some research, ’cause I think you guys may be on to something. What I found though is that The Pelican from Finding Nemo refers to Seagulls as “Rats with wings”. If it works for Pixar, It will work for me!
Hey, as long as the cliche is established it always works. Unfortunately you can’t use any cliches like “Seven Yonder Piglets are kindly to friends.” Who said that anyway?
Great stuff, Matt. Really fun.
I love 4th wall jokes.
Larry should do this with the main story.
Ha- rats with wings. I thought that was bats though. . .

I always thought pigeons were rats with wings. We could call Sea Gulls “Pigeons with fish breath.”
