049 – My Earliest Memory (Part One)

This was a very tough one to write. Not only was it tough coming up with the right words, it was tough editing it all down to fit within the allotted space. If anyone sees anything that is grammatically wrong with what I have written. Please let me know. I didn’t study as hard as I should have in English class. Thanks!

Also, just a quick reminder, if you like the comic, consider clicking on that little share/save button down below and help me out by spreading the word!

Tune in on Thursday where we will reveal a little more about Robot’s past!

Love the strip, upset that humanity (maybe) is gone, and I love the new arrows, much better!

  2. Evan says:

    Ooooh very interesting!

  3. Bearman says:

Wouldn’t he remember this conversation so that he would remember the goddess longer??

  4. Matt says:

Bearman – He would later remember the conversation, but the memory of her face would have been lost forever…

… but I am getting ahead of myself. Answers for all of that soon enough.

  5. russ says:

    I like it!
Just a note; Maybe I’m wrong, but shouldn’t it be, “I’m old, Carl” with a comma?

  6. Nice one Matt – will be interested to see where this goes :)

  7. ooooooh! I like! :D

But now I’m wondering just how long the robot’s been around, and if it’s biologically possible for seagulls and crabs to have evolved sarcasm… survival of the most sardonic! I love it!

  8. Tim Lai says:

Well that wasn’t funny at all. Which is fine because I’m interested to see how this progresses. I’m glad you don’t feel compelled to make every comic end in a punchline and are making the comic you want to make.

  9. malrd7 says:

What a web you are weaving.
    You go.

  10. Russ says:

Robot looks like he’s guarding something, maybe. . . or waiting for someone?

  11. Matt says:

Glad you guys are digging it! More surprises to come!

  12. drewbie says:

I am 100% with Tim Lai.

  13. Nixon says:

holycrap what a twist …totally unexpected..just think of the implications…this is really cool…
…if he was just a guardbot i wonder why they woud have put in 2500 years of memory…guards dont need much brains but only a loud voice and strong arms…
cool twist…leaves a lot space for fantasy and speculation *thumbsup*

    • Matt says:

Thankyou sir! Glad you like the twist! As for the answers to questions about memory and “guardbots” well… What can I say, Stay tuned!
