I am sorry for posting this one so late at night. (I know, I know, it’s kinda a theme now isn’t it.) Only one more comic left before we return to the funny stuff. I promise.
Interesting note: This image of an ancient robot with a staff has been with me for YEARS. It first showed in this little drawing I did back in 2003 as a part of a daily sketch group.
Robot Beach has turned into a “dumping ground” of sorts for all of my old ideas… Cool!

Sweet! I like the drawing of the robot with staff. I think you meant to write “the last OF the statue” in the first narration box. I’m interested to see where this goes!
Thanks for catching that Tim. It’s weird, I always read and re-read my comic several times before I post it. Yet things like this always slip through. I think I have some minor dyslexia. I am pretty sure of it actually.
I really like that older drawing. Great atmosphere.
Story is intriguing and that older image would make a fantastic huge poster. (I want one!)
I don’t know about a poster, but if there was a 1280×1024 size, I’d use it as a background
Jande, drewbie – I don’t know if I can find a copy of this at a high enough resolution. I’d have o go digging through my archives and see what I can find for ya.

I remember that. Had it as my backround for a while. . .
Most of the time I don’t like story strips that aren’t funny, but this arc is interesting.
I second @Splox5 that the arc is getting more and more interesting. Being well over 1900 years old there must be some incredible stories to tell.
Any chance you could add a subscribe to comments plugin to WordPress? That makes it easy for me to follow the conversation.
Chris – I will take a look around and see what I can find about that. If I can add it for you, I will.
