I’ve gotta admit… I drew it before I wrote it. Yep. I just quickly drew in some word balloons and hoped and prayed that I would be able to fill them with something later.
It’s what happens when you draw something the day it’s supposed to go live. I think it works though. It’s kinda funny and a satisfying (if totally predictable) end to a nice little story arc.

What a perfect way to end this storyline!
Now we see the violence inherent in the system!
Dammit, Matt. First you get me all fanboy about the Crab. Now I like the seagull all over again. Yup. This seagull knows what’s what. Silly fish. Not gonna dwell on the symbolism here, lest I be lynched…
that’s weird..taste like chicken.
hah, funny. nice work!
When life gives you lemons make lemonade. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Um… wait one hour after you eat before swimming?
I was hoping for a sound effect of Larry biting into the swim bladder
I did not see that coming….well played
Keep at it! Your characters are really starting to develop, and I can’t wait for more!
Ah fish was a short lived character, but I’m glad to see he’s not going to waste.
at least it seems to me the fish died by itself rather than being eaten alive by Larry..
thats fair enuff…too bad he lost his lil firend, i liked the floppy fish *sniff
gotta love the speech in panel 3 …wise words from larry there
Sad to see the little guy go. . . Oh well, plenty of fish in the sea, as they say. . .
Also- how did he say all that with a fish in his mouth?
Mmmm . . . Sushi . . .
Never let a good swim bladder go unpopped, I always say.
Thanks for all the wonderful comments everyone! I apologize for not commenting back at all, I promise I wasn’t ignoring you! I’ve just been very busy.
this is my new favorite – well done Forcum.
aww poor larry lol i love his expression in the second panel
So, when did you realize that the last panel would have worked better without words?
