I had such a great time with last week’s recreation of a classic vaudeville routine, I just had to do it again. This time I chose a great one that a couple of friends of mine and I use to recreate whenever someone would bring up a certain particularly difficult to use 3D animation software. I tried to re-create it as literally as I could in four panels.
I also tracked down a few movie clips for you to check out to get a flavor of how this one was told by some of the masters of comedy. First up is Costello and Sid Fields:
Followed up by a really great rendition from Lucy:
There was also a Three Stooges sketch but honestly, It is kinda terrible. I’ve never really understood the appeal of the Three Stooges. I guess it is one of those “You had to be alive back then” kinda things.
Quick Reminder: You only have till friday to get $10 off all original art!

I love this! I remember my dad telling this old routine when I was a little girl and I used to laugh so hard at it. Thanks for bringing back those memories!
I did this routine when I was in high school drama. it was the highlight of my career. Ah, good times.
Funny stuff and a fine tribute to a pair of comedic masters!
Now, if Larry and Carl could only figure out who’s on first!
oh no’s! run larry run :O carl is gunna smash u ups
A bit also excellently turned into the song “Don’t call me dude” by scatterbrain. Dude? DUDE!!! Slowly I turned…..
The classics are truly timeless, aren’t they? Nice job with this one. Thanks for the smile!
