121 – I’m Scared Carl

For more intriguing hints at what may lie ahead, check out these two comics. That’s right. I’ve been setting things up for something big since the very first strip! I wonder what other little hints lie in hiding in my archive…

Also, the quote in today’s comic was lifted and re-arranged from a quote by Matt Warshaw who is a writer and famous surfer.

I really like how he feels the draw to the ocean, yet is still fighting the draw inside that tells him it’s not safe. I hope he sprints forward with his surfboard and takes the challenge.

I know you made a comment on twitter earlier, so I wanted to state…you did good on the feet.

Good ole’ Carl, always there when you need him….Carl?….Oh never mind, strike that last part will ya. :)

    Heya, Matt

I think today’s strip is lovely! If you hadn’t mentioned the feet, I never woulda noticed.

Looks good, and nice emotion and character beats there, too.

    …and fixed!
