    great final panel Matt!

    • Matt says:

Yeah, I wasn’t sure how it was gonna turn out in the end. I’m happy with it.

    • Red says:

it’s not serious, thgouh (had it been the other thing we were thinking, he’d have had to be put down), so they’re keeping him for a few days and then he’ll be back. Phew!Long trip down there and back, but now, back to super-heroes!

  2. Mike M says:

    Agreed! Great job!

  3. Tom says:

Hey, it’s the big statue head! Neat!

  4. Russ says:

Will he rust? Probably not, he’s too slick.

  5. Andrew Jones says:

    Holy crap, what a reveal!

  6. tmcelmurry says:

This is a very cool strip today, the last panel showing the remains of what Robot had always cherished and held onto as his earliest memory, the item that pushed him to go in search of the truth, only to be told that nothing existed of man and to once again feel alone. His quest for the answers has allowed him to be at the right place at the right time. All of this has been for a reason, to put him where he is now, so that he can rescue man and learn the truth of what’s out there. I’m so excited and looking forward to what Robot finds out from this young lady and to find out exactly where we are in the time line for this webcomic. Great stuff.

    • Matt says:

Thanks! That’s pretty much exactly what I was hoping to get across! Glad to know that two years of toiling didn’t go to waste. ;)

  7. adriana says:

Wow, this is a nice twist! Maybe Robot didn’t get too far in his boat, but he found something (someone, rather) very important! I’m so excited by the new character; I want to meet her already!

Love the audio commentary, by the way…I look forward to what the story will bring up next! Great job!

  8. Lawton says:

I wouldn’t be surprised if Robot was waterproof all along. He has been on a beach for millennia after all.

  9. Jerry says:

I love following your strip and today it just cranked up a notch. The last panel is saved as art on my iPad … Incredible!!! Thanks for the spoiler … The drowning girl lives. And what a fun thing to share with YOUR little girl!

    • Matt says:

Thanks! glad you like where the story’s gone! And I’m glad you like the art as well.
