Hi all! I have a couple of quick news items today. First of all, The gang at Comic Book Resources had some kind words to say about Robot Beach! Head over to their blog and check it out.
I recently got my grubby little hands on an artist edition copy of The Legend of Bill comic book. It is beautiful, and the sketch card is getting framed and added to my small (yet steadily growing) collection of original art from cartoonists.
Speaking of new comic books, Steve Ogden is just about ready to start taking orders for book 1 of his fantastic Moon Town series. You might want to get in line now, because these are sure to go fast. Especially considering that he has just been named “Best New Webcomic” by the Webcomic List Awards! Congratulations Steve! This is only the beginning my friend, I’ve got a good feeling about this.
And finally, I am going to be attending the C2E2 Comic Con in Chicago this year. (attendee only) This is my first comic convention and I am super excited to meet some of the people who’s work I’ve been reading a lot of lately.
