I am trying out a new feature over the next few weeks called Larry’s Lazy Sunday Strip. It is essentially a dumping ground for jokes and ideas that cannot fit into the normal Robot Beach comic. For example, you might see planes, cars, jokes about new movies, politics and references to pop culture. I hope this fits in well with the rest of what I am doing, but it may not. We will just have to give it a shot and see how it works out!

Alright, it’ll be interesting to see how this pans out. I don’t follow much in current affairs so i don’t actually get this joke, maybe something to do with Obamacare or the Canadian health care system.
Yeah, this will be an interesting experiment for sure.
The “joke” is less a joke and more a commentary on how stupid and petty and small some congressman can be. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vx8ARCn1pdQ This is probably my last attempt at political “humor.”
Don’t explain it! It’s funny of all politics! Matt, like Monty Python sums up the hypocrisy of conflicting interpretations between factions of organized religion in “The Life of Brian” this strip sums up the divide between politics and political journalism beautifully. I am building a shrine to you. Tomorrow. Well, maybe the next day. Please do it again!
As long as this doesn’t devolve into a Family Circus “Billy draws the strip” thing, in cool with it.
Chad – haha. I had forgotten about those.
Actually this style helps to separate these strips from the rest of the comic, PLUS I don’t have to do a whole lot of extra work to get a third strip out every week. (I am having a hard enough time with 2 strips already!)
More comics? Yay!
I approve of this new addtion.
Larry is quickly becoming my favorite character.
Now that’s funny! Keep up the great stuff!
Any time Larry gets ink, I’m happy!
Thanks to everyone who commented! I appreciate your thoughts. We will keep this up for a few months and see how it works out. Tune in next Sunday for a new episode of Larry’s Lazy Sunday Strip!
