Well I am taking full advantage of that “sometimes Fridays” part of my release schedule and so there will be no comic update for today. However You can expect to see a new comic every Monday and Wednesday with the bonus comic being once or twice a month on Fridays. (depending on how big my buffer is)

I did want to finish this week with some thoughts about what I have learned so far concerning this new project of mine here. A famous singer once said “Let it be. Dear Lord, let it be.” I am sure he was talking about the process of creating comics.

You see, for the last two weeks I have been going back over the strips that I have posted so far and I have been tweaking them ever so slightly. Adjusting the color, adjusting the balloons, cleaning up the line work etc. I do this because as I continue to create strips I am finding better ways of doing things and so I feel like I should go back and fix what I have already done for quality and consistency sake. This is all hilarious because the style I chose for this strip is rough and sketchy on purpose so as to avoid the need for consistency and perfection so that I am not spending all my free time on this strip which is EXACTLY what I am doing right now.

I need to lay down the law. From now on it is full steam ahead. When I post a strip, that’s it. It’s done. Time to move on to the next one. No looking back.

Actually… I am going to fix the shading on that one tree real quick… but after that, boom. Done.
